I can remember exactly where I was, the 1st time I ever saw one of these sweet Red Male, Cardinal birds, out in nature.
I was in Grand Haven Michigan, and I followed him as he flew from tree to tree.
The 2nd one I saw was in Maryland..
These beautiful birds capture my heart ,and I am so excited to paint this piece.
I love him enough to keep him for my own collection, but am letting him fly to a forever home, where he will be loved ..
Painted on a 6x6 inches and 1 1/2 inch deep stretched canvas. He is sold as a unframed work of art. No hanging hardware is attached as the edges are deep enough for it to stand alone, and wood frame is deep enough to hang on a nail or attach by command type wall hanger.
He has so many sweet details that capture my minds eye memory of him..
